Passing on some sad news on this beautiful day. One of our oldest members has passed on, Dick Menard aka “The General” passed this week.

Dick joined our chapter soon after it began and was one of the few “Lead” Road Captains in our history. People stopped when they saw or heard his red Shovelhead. He was loved, feared and above all respected. Anyone who knew him could tell you a horror story I’m sure, but what I know is that if he was leading the ride you were ready to go when he said go!

These stories will live on in the minds of those who knew him as our chapter continues to create so many new memories.
