Progress… but still impact on our schedule

Check out the schedule for updates.  Please stay safe, say well… Ride and Have Fun as best you can.

Our Activities Officer Patrick has provided the following update:

Alright! You have at least gotten out, haven’t you? To be honest, it’s been mostly gorgeous weather! Even if you haven’t been able to hit the road, I sincerely hope this finds all of you are all still doing well and staying safe and healthy.
If you are one of the two or three that can even still follow things, it still looks as though things are continuing to trend in a positive direction. Your Seacoast HOG officers have been working on ideas to get us back to Riding and Having Fun. You will see more on that very soon!
While we’re still not to the point of resuming our chapter schedule, we still want you to be able to ride and have fun. If you do ride, consider pick-up rides. We highly encourage each and every one of you to continue to adhere to established state guidelines and direction. Primary among that is keeping groups to 10 people or less.
Also, all of the dealerships are open with proper precautions in place. As you may have seen, they are still asking that anyone visiting please wear a face mask.
So, the bad news… as we are not resuming our schedule, this means that we are canceling some more activities. These new cancellations include:
Hop & Grind, Tuesday, 6/9
Monthly LOH Meeting, Wednesday, 6/10
LOH Chili Cook-Off, Saturday, 6/13 – To be rescheduled to the Fall.
Mini Bike Races at Seacoast, Saturday, 6/13
LOH Ice Cream Ride, Sunday, 6/14
Twin States Biker BBQ, Sunday, 6/14
Comedy Night, Tuesday, 6/16
Pin Stop Ride, Thursday, 6/18 – Rescheduled to 8/27
Biker Games at Twin States, Saturday, 6/20
Ryan’s Ride, Sunday, 6/21
Now the Black Sheep Blessing of the Bikes is still on with a drive-thru type set-up. Unfortunately, there will be no breakfast, bike contest or raffle, but you can still get your bike blessed. Dwayne and Sal are planning two separate pick-up rides out of RHD. Contact either of them for more info. You can find more info on the bike blessing itself at https://www.blacksheephdfc.org/chap…/southern-maine-chapter/
There will be more about our schedule soon.
As always, please continue to do your part to help minimize the spread of this virus. Also, keep in mind that we are all in this together and any one of us may be on edge. It’s not just you.
And, as always, if you know of any our members that need assistance with anything, let’s work together to help them out. And let’s not forget our members that may not have Facebook or are may not use email. Welfare checks are always highly encouraged, including family and neighbors that may need you, too.
Stay safe. Stay healthy. Stay sane. And, as always, stay civil. We will come through this together.
