On a large turnout (around 70) for what has become an annual 3 night “Cook Off” challenge, we shared the tragedy that hit our motorcycle community. The news spread fast on Friday night. Being in Rangeley Maine for our event (not far from the incident), folks were getting calls and texts to confirm “safe” as the news story evolved. On Saturday morning we bowed our heads in a moment of silence as the grill cooks prepared our omelets and pancakes. Somber and aware that our sport and life itself can be challenged and disrupted. We gathered together knowing we shared much with the fallen and their families. We appreciate and are thankful for their service and always show and find respect with the service mc clubs. We had fun for sure (Riding/Friends/food), but will forever have the somber memory of the weekend. Our Governor said the entire State has been profoundly impacted and our flags are at half staff today. Seacoast HOG mourns with the family and friends of the Jarheads MC. Peace.
