Welcome to the North Hampton, NH Seacoast Ladies of Harley page! As the Ladies of Harley Officer, it is my pleasure to have you as a visitor. Please allow me to tell you more about our group.
What is Ladies of Harley (L.O.H.)?
Ladies of Harley® (L.O.H.®) is a program sponsored by the Harley Owners Group® (H.O.G.®) to support women motorcycle enthusiasts – both riders and passengers. We’re a group of ladies in the Harley-Davidson® family that promote events and fun from within our local Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) Chapter. We were established to encourage women to become more active in the National H.O.G. organization as well as our local H.O.G chapters. Whether you ride solo or as a passenger, you are welcome to be a L.O.H. member.
The focus of North Hampton, NH Seacoast Chapter Ladies of Harley has become one of organizing L.O.H. sponsored rides (which are open to all members), planning and hosting fundraisers to benefit the Chapter, encouraging more women to be involved with the Chapter, volunteering and participating in Chapter events and rides, and creating a circle of friends with a common love of motorcycling.
Ladies of Harley Officer’s Mission
- Continue to incorporate excitement & learned successes into our traditional events.
- Introduce new rides & activities this year, applying the same formula for success and excitement to encourage maximum Chapter participation.
- Circulate our strong, unified, fun culture throughout the chapter.
- Coach committee members to thrive with confidence in preparation for future transitions in our group.
I Want to Join L.O.H.!
First, you must be a member of the National Harley Owners Group with an active full or associate membership. You can then join our local chapter (see instructions on this How to Join page). We are not a separate organization within H.O.G, and there’s no additional fee to join the Ladies of Harley; however, it is not automatic. To join, call the H.O.G. hotline at 1-800-CLUBHOG, and request L.O.H. be added to your membership.
You’ll receive a special embroidered patch and a pin during the first year of your membership. Each renewal year, L.O.H. members will receive an L.O.H. pin indicating the year of membership. Your National H.O.G. card will also indicate your L.O.H. membership.
L.O.H. Meetings
The members of L.O.H. meet monthly in addition to the Chapter Business meeting. We also sponsor activities in which both ladies and men can participate. Our L.O.H. meetings are held the following Wednesday after our monthly Chapter Business meeting. New members are always welcome!
In 2023, we will be holding our monthly meetings downstairs at WHYM Craft Pub and Brewery, located at 853 Lafayette Road, Hampton, NH. The meeting starts at 6:30 PM, but some ladies come earlier to socialize and eat dinner (anytime after 5:00 PM). Spouses and significant others are welcome at what we affectionately call the Men of Harley table.
